Washington Athletic Academy was founded in 2019 with the goal of developing a premier athletic program in the Seattle area.  Starting with 6 baseball teams, Washington Athletic Academy was established to help players reach higher levels of play through quality coaching, performance training, speccific workouts, and guidance from experienced coaches with a true love of the game,   

 

For the 2022-2023 season, Washington Athletic Academy has grown to 12 baseball teams, 6 volleyball teams, and 5 softball teams serving the age levels of 8U-18U for over 275 athletes and families.  By providing a full service athletic program, Washington Athletic Academy is providing athletes with quality programs to help them reach their greatest potential.

Built on the foundation of putting the players first we are dedicated to helping each one of our players improve their on-field skills and complete knowledge of the game.  All of our training coaches played at the collegiate/professional level, which gives our players the benefit of their insights, and experience while providing a high level of training.

In addition to teaching the fundamentals of the game, we provide a wide range of programs to assist our athletes to improve on their athleticism.  We have an experienced athletic trainer on staff to provide a speed and agility program to help with athleticism, a weight program to increase players strength, a yoga program to help with balance, core strength, flexibility and relazation, a nutrition  program to provide much needed knowledge on the best foods to consume for optimum performance.

We require our players to work hard in the classroom as well as on the field.  It is a priority to instill in our athletes the importance of performing in the classroom.  Players cannor rely solely on their on field talents to play at the higher levels.  If a player cannot maintain the required grade point average they will not be eligible to play and if they arr wanting to play in college their opportunities will be greatly reduced if they do not maintain above a 3.5 grade point average.  Through our Washington Athletic Academjy tutoring program we will help all of our players to excel in the classroom by assisting those players who need additional support with their studies.

For players wanting to play in college, we will do our best to help find a school they can attend and continue playing the game they love.  Through our experience and connections we will help guide our athletes and families through the recruiting process.

Washington Athletic Academy currently operates Washington Baseball Academy, Washington Fastpitch Academy and Seattle Volleyball Academy and will continue to add more sports to its growing list of sports.
